You should do some research on the archetype: Reynard. I'm a non-evil Reynard. Not a gormless #gurglesexcitedly plush toy. You shouldn't demean the fox. I'm not even going to fully dignify the cute part, except to say that I give girls that deer-caught-in-the-headlights look. Which is excellent leverage for a fox.
