Unlike football, all the players looked like polite, respectable human beings. They cut their hair and they had good sportsmanship--never really swearing or getting angry or pissed off in the dugouts, at least from what I saw. That made the whole thing a lot easier to sit through because of how refreshing it was. That's the best part of baseball tbh. The atmosphere is just pure joy. Best examples are Rizzo jumping around in the dugout like a hyperactive puppy and Bryant's face as he threw to first. It's just a good time, and I think that's nice to have after dealing with bullshart all day.

if people like the sport itself so much, then cut the stadium budget in half and give the proceeds to something that helps society

To put it bluntly, looking at the two versions displayed of so called "spitefulness," there's a clear cut difference. One version could lightly be considered as being a dickhead about things. And the other is merely pointing that out in a reserved and respectful manner. That's why it's okay. If Luci came out with the same obnoxious tone then it wouldn't be.

Feel like they're doing dandy in terms of stadium budgeting.

Verbatim's hated for sports I still find silly, but at least he can respect that baseball players are classy.
Shut the fuck up you miserable cunt

Progressive Field (the Indian's stadium) has been open for nearly 25 years now and there are no plans to touch it (yet, at least).Honestly, only baseball field that's getting dumped right now iirc is the Braves' Turner Field by the new Suntrust Park, which is perfect timing considering that the Mercedes-Benz Stadium is replacing the Georgia Dome at the same time.Salaries are a much better thing to complain about than a new park once every generation or two.
