Eh, German is pretty simple once you get used to it. It's just that you combine words to make superwords. And it's probably a similar thing in Greenlandic.

German grammar is quite convoluted.

The vocabulary is pretty straightforward though.

You will find out who you are not a thousand times, before you ever discover who you are. I hope you find peace in yourself and learn to love instead of hate.

What's the perfect participle of to shave and to have in German?

Depends on the sentence, I played football yesterday "Ich habe gestern Fussball gespielt " would be an informal way of using it. All you need to remember is that it's a past tense, and is made up of three parts:
A pronoun (ich, du etc) or a noun (der Hund etc)
An auxiliary verb (present tense of either haben or sein)
A past participle (which goes at the end of the sentence).

There are plenty of ways of employing the tense, and more rules regarding it. But that was just a quick example.
