A straightforward quip, but nonetheless ruthlessly savage; the implication being that anything spoken in front of a mirror must be directed at the speaker himself. It harks back to the classically puerile schoolyard gibe, "I'm rubber and you're glue," but has a far greater impact; for while the rubber/glue proclamation uses a juvenile metaphorical premise to bolster its assertion, the legendary mirror remark actually displays an accurate and observable statement about reality--for on the Internet, we are all using screened devices, from which light can be reflected; we are all using mirrors.

Ouch. He's got you there. You've been too busy putting your point across that you've neglected to ensure that said point is given in a clear, concise manner, thus painting you as an arrogant, careless fool with a potential lack of critical thinking skills.

It's obviously an insightful commentary on the innate inferiority of humanity in general and how only those who strive to raise themselves above that are even worth acknowledging as peers.
