I feel like this is just like interracial marriage. It's been legal for a long time but people still don't like it and it causes a lot of drama within a family. It's good they have equal rights, but society doesn't always change with the laws. Unfortunately.

Well why not print the reasoning the judges gave for their rulings and why they voted how they wanted. As well give the whole case to them that is recorded by a clerk. Give it to them to read and find why majority of the judges supported the ruling.

Good, this will show religious gay people that they are hypocrites and hated by their own religion.

That sounds bad, but with churches mostly following the same stance as this guy has (See: Catholic church's stance on gay marriage in Ireland), all the "unwanteds" and sensible folk will leave the church, so you'll have only the crazies left supporting religion.

Then the church has no power/influence, and then there will be a true separation of Church and State (and possibly the community too).

On the other hand, the majority of my Christian friends are far more liberal than anyone on this site (near Mad Max levels), my old church was accepting of gays and donated a month's tithings to an LGBT youth homeless shelter, and the worst I've seen is some passive aggressive stuff about how the legal definition off marriage is separate from God's (note: it is). So maybe you just have some shitty friends, but I've got hundreds of Christian friends and I'm seeing very little negativity, and overwhelming positiveness.
