Yep. I've been saying that since Google Wallet came about. I love using it, but I've only been able to do so about a dozen times in the last few years. So few places have compatible terminals, or they're broken.

Safer too since you just deposit a set amount onto your phone and can then swipe it to buy stuff / use vending machine / use as a rail pass.

Bunch of chinese hackers just broke into iCloud so I wouldn't trust apple with my info. They're a ripe target.

I can't wait to see more metro cards use NFC so I can just use my phone for the train/subway/bus/etc
