I just got my haircut last week and I feel like she left the bangs area too long and it's been bugging me. Thinking about trying to touch it up a bit but I'm a little scared.

Any advice?

very much so, ended up shaving my entire head whe  I was done with it. It starts with one or two hairs out of place, and then two more, and eventually you're shaving your head. I'd leave it to the experts who cut hair for a living.

Yes, I prefer it to going to the barbershop, though I just shave it all off because I can't be bothered to try anything fancy.

Your first attempt will also be your worst attempt.

It took me a while to get accustomed to cutting my hair using a mirror, though if you just want to cut a bit off your bangs, it probably won't be too bad, just be careful while using your scissors/electric shaver.

I tried it and next time I went for a haircut they said that the previous cutter really messed up my hair :'(

I do it often, it isn't very hard.  Use a tri-fold mirror if you have one to make it easier, and use scissors rather than a razor.  Just be gentle while cutting and you shouldn't botch anything.
