Has a creator's interpretation ever made you stop liking their work?

No, because authorial intent has no bearing on the meaning of the propositions in the actual novel. No reason for me to dislike the work if the author thinks of it differently than I do. And subtext is essentially relativistic at its core so there's even less reason for me to care about that as well. Noticed this when I first watched 2001 and thought it could be about man-machine psychology when Clarke actually wrote it as a story about aliens. I enjoyed both interpretations, and realized that neither was "more correct" than the other.

Sometimes I do just end up not liking authors themselves because of their interpretations though. Can't think of any examples though *shrug*

Though what I don't like are people who believe that there is only one true interpretation and disagree with any other opinion on the subject.

Like, for example in gaming, those people who solely believe Game Theory's explanations.
