Harassed on the Street

So yesterday I was in New York City for about nine hours. And all day I was harassed by people on the streets with their cat-calls of "Nice hair" and "I like your hair." One person even asked if I was supposed to look like an anime character, to which I promptly said no. I've never felt so disrespected and objectified in my life.
I don't know how to live with myself anymore...

Colouring your hair is optional, and as I said, New Yorkers tend to be like that. When I go to places with lots of people, I try to blend in with the crowd as much as possible.
