I don't even understand why people liked Leafy in the first place. I don't particularly like h3h3, but I do watch them occasionally. Leafy however, I don't watch. I clicked on one of his videos, and I just couldn't watch the rest of it. He sounds edgy as fuck, he acts cringey in his talk, and there's nothing concrete in his videos- and don't get me started on his fanbase that says "hiss" like fucking autistic man-children. I'm all for beating on the weak, but it can't be for no reason, and if you have a reason that's not "I just dislike this channel" you should present it. Granted, he might be doing that, but I cannot watch one of his videos, so I'm talking based on what I saw.

They both fucked up but I'll be on H3H3's side because his initial video was 100℅ right about leafy and leafy didn't address ANY of Ethan's original points in his video. Instead, he brought up private conversations that were not relevant to Ethan's video in a desperate attempt to focus the negative attention off of himself. Ethan did say some dumb shit in those DMs, but Leafy literally agreed with him in that conversation and he literally said he wanted to throw Pyro in a ditch! Leafy was saying the exact same shit that he was calling out Ethan for.
They both vented to each other on Twitter about another youtuber they don't like and leafy tried to use it against H3H3 but Ethan's point still stands: Leafy is a shithead who makes vicious and cancerous content.
