People have lives, and then there are people like me who are here, but do not generate discussion most of the time, just participate in it.

It's just that there are 24 people online, so I'd expect a lot of activity.
Most folks aren't chatty unless they have something to talk about. My own rule of thumb is, usually not to bother making any threads, and instead just comment when something interesting comes up. There's a few folks around here with the reserved mindset.
ffs people this isn't b.net.Was that place your first forum?
The thing is the main reason I'm here is to have a discussion. If there's no discussion, I'm wasting my time here.
What's your story?
If you're looking for constant activity then you'd be better off in the live chat corner of the internet. Most forums have ups and downs with activity. B.net was an exception to that because it has a ridiculous number of members drawn in from their rep as a developer and their up and coming triple A title.
There is nothing wrong with it, he is just saying that b.net is not what you should envision this place as. An offsite forum is always going to be slower, but it also has the advantage of bringing the users closer together, and creating a more tight knit community.
I only want this place to be a bit more lively, especially since this is during it's peak hours. This place should be busy right now.I never said bnet is what I want this place to be, I just think that as a close together community there should be more discussion.
If people don't want to post then what is there to do? You can't force them to.If you really want more activity then the best thing to do is find more members to join.
