After doing some cleanup in my tiny apartment room to add in some new shelving units (they're "meh") I now have space for ONE (1) (Uno) model kit at the top, but over the years I have gotten my hands on six different kits. All the ones at my mom's place are broken (I'm really bummed about the MG Turn A) so I can't use any I've already built.

Which one should I put together?

Two SEED kits. Regardless of the quality of the show, I find their mech designs to be pretty good given when they were released (and the waifus were alright to an extent).

I would've bought the Red Comet myself but I'm a sucker for Char's units. The nearest store for buying Gunpla outside Mitsukoshi at Epcot is in Downtown Orlando, I'd rather just get them from HobbyLinkJapan though since they're usually cheaper online even with my 35% discount at Mitsukoshi.

I already own Char's Zaku-II. I bought it a while back on eBay, I wish I had known Hobby Lobby sells them because it was $10 cheaper there.

Yo, Daily reminder that the ZZ is the worst main character MS of all time.

Litteraly an overdesigned toy-bait with gimicks that don't synergize at all. Let seriously what the fuck is the design goal here?

-Waverider form is a half assed partsformation that never even gets used because it's so bad.

-Core block system that doesn't take advantage of the modularity that is the entire point of the system

-Has to be launched in THREE WHOLE FUCKING PARTS by three different pilots and undergo a long ass docking sequence in the enemy's line of sight in order to be combat ready.

-Is designed for heavy firepower but doesn't have the power generation to sustain itself in the role and litteraly becomes a brick the moment it uses it's particle canon.

What role is this thing possibly supposed to fill that wouldn't be better served by a straight up Mobile Armor.

I just finished Zeta an hour ago. I don't know if I would say that as a whole it's characterized by "coherent design."

In the beginning, sure. But around halfway through the series the designs started getting stupid imo.

There's the speed advantage from putting most of the thrusters in one direction but also It allows for uninhibited atmospheric flight and reentry.

Zeta does have some goofy ass suits though. Like what the fuck even is the Baund Doc?

lol the Baund Doc is exactly what I was thinking of. Btw I was surprised and disappointed by Jerid's demise, it was kind of unexpected and anticlimactic, especially seeing as he hadn't shown up much during the final episodes. I expected something else I guess, rather than just "DIE KAMI-" *explodes*

his ever-intensifying vendetta against Kamille became increasingly entertaining as the show progressed.

Im really hoping they release a version without the LEDs because otherwise its a huge disappointment with it costing as much as a PG, between the Unicorn and the umpteenth Wing Gundam. I'm really not a fan of what Bandai is doing lately

From the trailer it seems it's still supposed to have good articulation even with the LEDs.

But as much as I will never stop loving the Unicorn, I wish we'd get some different already like an RG Hi Nu already.

I put together the HG Zaku High Mobility Type. How is it that a HG Origin model is more durable, fun to build, and easier to hold/manipulate than the MG Turn A? That thing was an absolute pile of shit.

How old is the MG Turn-A? I'm still new to gunpla from what Ive seen, kits have just gotten much much better over time.

Like look at just real grades. In a year you go from mostly being disastrous frag grenades with the poor Sinanju being the latest and worst victim since the Zeta, to the Mini Master Grade that the Unicorn is. And then two years later the Nu comes out and for how absolutely incredible the RG Unicorn still is, the RG Nu almost makes that look like a fucking No Grade SD by comparison.
