I think Bioware's forums needed your account to be linked to at least one of their "modern" games to post in forums specific to that game, but on a sitewide level like this and with tracking player progress, I haven't seen anything like it.

Then again I generally don't seek out gaming boards these days,

Some of you moved on a long time ago and probably felt a bit angry when B.next was introduced. It's honestly a bit hard for me to come to terms with this nail in the coffin.

I started using the forums, mainly offtopic, when I was 16 years old and now I'm almost 20. I never stopped posting and became very attached to the community. I laughed, I joked, and I made others happy. When I was sad, bored, or had just come back from high school I was always excited to jump onto the site. It's difficult seeing almost 4 years of enjoyment finally ending. Throughout that time I interacted with so many people and saw those same faces among others come and go and now that's all gone. Almost everyone I met is either on an offsite or is no longer active. The remaining posters are children with no sense of humor or creativity. It's a place I can no longer look forward going back to as those who made it good have been kicked off.

Sad.

Oh I didn't realize the player count was tanking like that. Maybe it's petty but I take satisfaction when that happens to games that become infected by the plague of micro-transactions. Even when I enjoy the gameplay itself I find myself wishing people would take a stance against this new practice of putting so much incentive on spending more money to have a good experience with a game.
