How are your stores looking during the quarantine? I went to get some basic stuff yesterday and the only thing empty on shelves was TP and rice. Everything else was pretty well stocked compared to what it was like a week ago.

Toilet paper and meat were empty but everything went back to normal like before when the world didn't come to end.

I'm only going to stores where they only allow a certain amount of people in at once. Those stores have the most food and other shit in stock compared to the ones where everyone is allowed to enter.

Especially the gardening sections

I've been able to get meat since they've been limiting the amount per customer, but the vegetables I get are still stocked full. I guess no one cares for any spinach or arugula around here. Water is selling out as well but only the cheap kind. I've been able to get the pricier stuff still. TP and paper towels are always out of stock. So are all disinfectants, although there has been a little bit of soap still. Couldn't find any Everclear in any liquor store either. I've heard that they aren't sending it out to stores and are making alcohol for companies to make hand sanitizer with right now, but I'm not sure how much truth there is to that.

I ordered a quart of 99% ethanol online from eyeglass supply store to make my own hand sanitizer with. Amazon has nothing available. They are prioritizing hospitals and government agencies anyways, and anything you can find can take over a month to arrive.

When were you down in FL? Also what part? I'm kind of envious of the pan handle right now, my uncle who lives there says everything is exactly like it was before the quarantine and nothing has changed at all.

I was staying around Jacksonville, did a lot of work in St Augustine, Went down in february, came back today,

Things were stupid at the stores a few weeks back but it seems like people are normalizing now

No flour, no sugar, no yeast, bread, rice. No frozen veggies, no eggs, cheese. Soup isle is totally empty. Toilet paper and cleaning isles are both totally empty. The store I work at keeps on ordering and keeps on not getting it. Whatever does come in is gone within the hour.

Last I checked, no meats except pork and expensive cuts like lamb. For some reason heavy cream and cream cheese are also hard to find. PA is getting hit kinda hard, especially around Monroe and Luzerne County because of the easy access to NJ and NY

Every shell is covered in transparent blanket, nobody without mask allowed to enter (actually you can't go outside without mask and document that shows your identity), only 1-3 customers can be inside shop at the same time, every shopkeeper wears mask and gloves.

Well, we do have a shortage of masks because our people liked to play in capitalism and outsource them in Italy and our government is fucking retarded, we were selling our masks even when quarantine started. If you can't find one, sew one. Government doesn't care if your masks is cool reusable mask, or mask that you sew yourself (which is ineffective) or one nonreusable that you wear longer than week. They don't care either that wearing mask doesn't make much sense when you are outside, on fresh air and sun, alone, all they want is to refill budget by fining people with this big fine which is 3-4 times bigger than average salary. Also they accepted this law against our constitution norms. Great, huh?

Hazleton is fixing to get the national guard called in because the fucking spics wont stay inside and stop spreading their shit between states. But I hope they do come in and shut everything down, because I hate coming into work. Stroudsburg is such a joke in how they're handling this

Went to Tesco today and the queue stretched all the way around the store and went into the suburb. Noped out of that and went to a convenience store near me instead. Sure their milk is slightly more expensive but they also have curd cheese that Tesco doesn't.

Yeah, my regular shop was supposed to be open at 10am today. They weren't, with no notice on the door stating when they will eventually open.

Okay FOR REAL today.

I will scour the remnants of my local Publix in search of materials to synthesize dinner tonight. My goal is some ground beef, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, seasonings, and Tortilla chips for taco mix tonight. I will also of course report any run ins with bands of lawless warlords, radioactive monstrosities, and other apocalyptic scenarios.

They had everything except toilet paper and paper towels. Everything. They even had rice, granted it was only 1 package per customer but the aisle was actually pretty full. I can get paper towels from 7-11 though, it seems me and only a small handful of people think to get more than just booze from convenience stores when filling up your tank at 10PM.
