If I get the chance to negotiate my wage, what should I make it to? I was thinking 8.95 or something, better than 8.05 as minimum wage, but I don't know.

I suppose. Negotiable implies they are comfortable paying above minimum wage, perhaps a little further than that. Though 8.90 seems reasonable.

I would ask what the typical wage is for other employees before. You wouldn't want to make a suggestion immediately on the chance that the average may exceed that.

It's 8.05 here in my state, but I'm going past that.

Start at 10 dollars. Never start at the minimum wage because it's far harder to negotiate upwards than downwards. It's better to start high and then go lower.
