I couldn't really think of a good word so I just used tame. In series 1 everyone is relatively happy, Walt has an okay life and everyone is alive.

Then things go down the shitter over the course of 4 more series

Which is basically every show ever I suppose, but Breaking Bad did it good. When you get further on you'll think back to the first series and be like 'Maaaan how far this guy has gone...'

Haven't seen Breaking Bad or The Walking Dead, but Game of Thrones honestly got good only a couple of episodes in, and I'm not done with it yet but it's been good the whole way through so far

The ton of sex scenes in it put me off at first too (It's the reason I put it off for so long), but it is really, really good

GoT is good. I really like character dramas, but there's quite a bit of unnecessary nudity that really is just bro-service. One or two big fights per season, and some pretty great writing up until season 5.

Narcos is really good. Daredevil kind of sucked beyond some novel cinematography early on. Bad actors and a silly plot.

Breaking Bad gets really good in season 2 and gets amazing from 3 onward. The other two start off good and then go downhill. But we all know you're just going to hate all of them so it doesn't really matter.

TWD being overrated is one of the worst-kept secrets I can think of. But despite that, I might try watching it if I ever get bored some day.

The Walking Dead is good at Season 1, shit at Season 2, mediocre at Season 3, excellent at Season 4 and 5. There are still some great episodes in the shit seasons.

Breaking Bad starts slow but is brilliant the whole way through. Its spinoff, Better Call Saul, is on par.

Game of Thrones starts off great but gets worse after Season 3.

Don't bother with TWD
GoT is mostly good. Season 4 was kinda weak, and season 5 is even weaker.
Breaking Bad is an all around great show.

Life on Mars (UK, not the crap US adaption that got canned)
Ashes to Ashes (watch this after Life on Mars)
Better Call Saul (watch this after Breaking Bad)
Spartacus is pretty good, but you probably won't like because there's a lot of sex and nudity
Only Fools and Horses (if you like old British sitcoms)

season 1 of The 100 was ok. season 2 was meh, personally.
The Office (gets good around season 2, you get used to the characters)
Parks and Rec (same as The Office)
Black Mirror (episodic)
Luther (great from the start, honestly)

uh that's all i can think of for now.
