as stupid as naruto is, i saw an episode on TV a long time ago where shikamaru and temari fought each other
and it was pretty cool, actually

shikamaru's supposed to have a mad genius level IQ, apparently, so his battle plan was pretty clever and interesting to watch

Naruto pretty much sucked and had terrible pacing, but it had some pretty great fights if you could get past how drawn out and full of power creep they could be.
