Not really. Pushing down on an object in freefall (which would mean you are also in freefall) would only make the object go down further, it wouldn't push you up.

Well it doesn't really matter how heavy you are, you can't push yourself up with something in freefall.
Although after rewatching it he's not really pushing himself up he's just kinda walking on them.
In which he case he'd need to be fast as hell, which is a thing i guess. Meh, it's fiction anyway lol

EDIT: Alright yeah, didn't know what this was from but I think it's safe to say they can just do whatever they want there lol
