I actually don't drink alcohol at all (nor have I chugged a six pack of anything in under an hour). I absolutely loathe onions like a vampire does garlic; it sucks because they're in everything.

No idea. It's just one of those quirks. The smell is revolting to me and if I bite into something with them in it it pretty much instantly triggers a gag reflex.
