Since the eggs had gone out of rotation by the time I came in, there wasn't a single MRE I didn't at least somewhat like until the introduction of the "pork sausage in creamy gravy."
Eating shitty SoS out of a brown plastic pouch is not okay, especially since the "gravy" in question had the consistency of mucus.

I think some surplus stores sell individual entrees. I've rarely seen full MRE's for sale. Maybe EBay.

The full package is stamped "us government property - not for retail" or something like that.

There's a couple of Army surplus stores around an hour away from where I live. I might see if they have some next time I'm there.
