Why do people think dead kids is any worse than regular dead people? I don't understand why killing kids gets people in uproar, but people don't give a shit about everyone else who dies.Aside from that, I don't know if I'm numb to this kind of thing or something but the whole bike thing had me more interested than shocked.

Waste of life, and a horrible place for children to be.The storm surge of Ike nearly reached my town. Thats about 15 minutes inland. Our entire coast line was re-shaped. Every single house was gone on the end closest to me.

Its horrible for anybody and everybody, I was just shocked at how somebody was not smart enough to GTFO when there is that bad of a storm coming, and you have a whole family with you. There were many others around there, but I am talking about this one since its the only one I had experienced.

It was a nightmare. Trees crashing all around you, if you open the window all of the cool air will be instantly sucked out. The wind is relentlessly strong with Tornadoes everywhere. And on top of that, the aftermath was worse. It dragged a massive heat wave that made it impossible to sleep.
