Favorite Motto?

I was looking up my family's heritage, and was looking through some Irish surnames and what-not.
I found my family's name, and apparently it had a motto listed:

"I neither fear nor despise."

My family's name traces back to Roger Daniel, who came to England with William the Conqueror in the battle of Hastings in 1066 A.D.

My last name means "Son of Daniel".
Could I be related to Daniel from the Bible?
That would be DOPE!

Nope. It's basically "Daniel" then add a letter or 2.

It's just my last name means "Son of Donnell" (whoever he was), and I got the O' part to go with it.
