I liked it too, but I don't hear about the movie very often from people, let alone that they enjoyed the ending.Strange. It's generally considered one of the best movies ever made.

Seven
Film and TV wise I can think of a few.Futurama (they apparently have 3 endings, seeing as they were cancelled so damn often...), Breaking Bad, Trainspotting, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (I should get around to reading the book too), Platoon, Grand Budapest Hotel, No Country for Old Men, Pulp Fiction... there's probably more but I can't remember more right now. Pretty much the film has to have a good ending for me to like it anyway, so most films I like fit here.As for books, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, On the Road, and a few of Clive Cussler's books (some are just a bit too ridiculously happy an ending). 1984 though depressing an ending, it did it well that I wasn't unhappy, plus it left me thinking more about it afterwards which is a good sign for me.

AND the finale to House of Card's second season.
The ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of DarknessIt genuinely made me cry. No game or movie ever did that to me before.
the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.

Personally, I thought it was a worthy conclusion to a great story, and I'm glad that it never continued only to go downhill like so many other tales.
Oh, and All Quiet on the Western Front.
