Ok. This is it; the endgame. Without going into too much detail, I have the final battle and too ways to go that I can't decide on. Before I go into detail I will say this; I do not like happily ever after endings, and whatever I do will be bittersweet, but I will never go for the 'everybody wins' route because it'snot interesting (to me)

Anyway.

Option 1: Humanity survives this final battle, though becomes permanently enslaved/ pawns of what are essentially gods and while their society can continue, every other civilisation (aliens) is eradictaed

Option 2: Humans and aliens win over the enemy, though at great cost. The number of habitable worlds in the entire galaxy is reduced to a mere handful, and it is uncertain whether the species of the galaxy will even find a way to survive at all

Oh yeah, you can only vote once. Personally, I'm leaning towards #2 but I can't really decide as they both sound interesting to me

Humans by chance timing became ruers above other species and enforced a totalitarian regime. When anew empire came and roflstomped them, the other species rebelled and some went into active war, some allied and others didn't do anything with humans. Thats something I've already done.

Yeah. I don't like endings where nobody loses. That's what pissed me off about the moon episode of doctor who the other week. Greatest one for a long time up until the ending where it was like nothing had happened. It had been so tense up until that point as well.
