Does your feelings for the job change over time?

My current job in retail which is my first that I've held for a little over a year is a very crummy job. The dress code is absolutely fucking retarded, the pay is low, the coworkers and supervisors are awful and the only reason I've kept it for as long as I have is because it's within walking distance and it's helped me build experience.

I've never had an official job. I'm trying to keep a steady income through stuff like buying/reselling and irl affiliate marketing.

When i need extra money i have connections that give me temporary jobs and pay under table for a few days. Stuff like moving heavy stuff/cleaning offices/working at hospitals. Right now i have a family friend that can get me work at a funeral home. That should be interesting

Pretty nervous first starting out, but once you get into the routine it's an amazing job. I love it and look forward to work everyday. I don't have to put on the uniform, I get to put on the uniform. I'm thoroughly looking forward to continuing my career as is.

I did work Experience at a pet shop one time, and it was absolute shit. I never want to have anything to do with that place again.

I did an automotive trial apprenticeship at the start of the year, and aside from the fact that older staff treat the least experienced member like absolute shit, like, they'll spare no effort in trying to impress upon you how inferior they think you are, it was pretty good, although they savagely underpay trial apprentices. I'd actually want to do that job on, y'know, actually realistic pay.

The casual job I've had since 2010 has been pretty sweet too, and that pathway looks pretty promising if I choose to follow it as a career. Getting paid to watch Footy is definitely one of the easier jobs out there. My view of it hasn't changed much, although I'm definitely taking it more seriously, and better interacting with other staff at the Sports club than when I started out.

Enjoy what I do and i enjoy the pay. It isnt big bucks but dammit I'm content with it. I can take it in different directions in life, but with my grade of education i really think this is the best i will get, now I'm not depressed about that I'm really damn happy with it.

Hell I may not even need to look for another job again.

Well, by the time I was done with my warehouse job, I was pretty tired of it... and my Mexican coworkers, one of which used to actually work with Coyotes down south and got his residency through marriage after many years of living illegally.
The closer I get to my ETS date, the less I care about the ARNG

I've been at the airport for about a year and a half now, and I can't say I dislike the place yet. The work isn't bad, my hours are tolerable,my coworkers (despite being vocal Cristian conservatives) are actually all nice people and there's free coffee every day. Sure the place lacks management or structure some days, but that just keeps things interesting.

I've only ever had two official jobs. One was full time in manufacturing and I made $16 an hour and $24 for overtime, but that was short lived and just a summer job. Now I work part time in retail because they can only give me 20 hours a week. I make about $190 a week and am basically a cart pusher with a degree. Don't screw up as badly as I did kiddos.

I work part time in a meat department and I can say that apart from the low pay (which makes sense) I love it there. The people the work there are great. I've thought about staying and working there full time, but I don't know if I would be able to afford it.

And here I am carpooling in a company truck with no expenses to worry about for a couple weeks. That is until I get back home.
