well i haven't made it there yet so i wouldn't be able to tell you. wouldn't be surprised, though, there are plenty of shows that lose their "magic" after the first season.

S2 took a complete 180. They gutted all the occult shit that made S1 so great and had the setting take place in LA, the most overdone, overused city ever depicted in crime shows.

At least they have somewhat serviceable actors and characters, but Vaughn's monologues are getting a bit cringeworthy. Not sure what angle they're going with "le closeted motorcycle man" but it really isn't interesting me at all.

So yeah, it's good, but the consistency between the seasons is jarring.
