I did a lot of work today. Cleaned up this room and got rid of a lot of stuff I don't need including my old Dell desktop computer from 2005, back when I really had nothing in those days. I had it in my closet for so long I forgot it even existed.

I've also had a shift in interest. For instance, the Star Wars nerd in me pretty much died out. Episode 7 was decent imo but I didn't have that level of excitement that everyone else did. I actually am donating my Darth Vader helmet.

I've also thought about burning 2 of my Guy Fawkes masks. The third one I paid top dollar for so I could sell that for a discount on Ebay. I don't know yet. Those aren't my only masks, I also have a glow in the dark Halloween hockey mask kinda like Jason from 3 years ago.

Its rather amazing how much shit can change within time, hell I'm not even crazy about Halo like how I used to be roughly a decade ago.

Anyone else have any changes like this?

Nope, and its not like I really wear any of them anymore. I mean I could use it for YouTube to hide my face, but that happening is very unlikely to begin with.

I've also been falling out of it with uploading YouTube videos as well. My last upload where I talked was over a month ago.

The enjoyable child I used to be was probably stamped out and crushed at around 8-9. Slow burn for a few more years.

After 14 I was basically just a dead adult in teenager form, having transitioned partially into crusty old fuck adult already.

That stuff happens though Deci. Hopefully in a more graceful manner than I ever transitioned. If you can pull it off in a graceful manner, and move from one interest to the next, then you're fine. It's a part of aging. We outgrow things.

I gave my friend all my Naruto and Bleach volumes. I was up to volume 56 on Naruto and 28 on Bleach, I simply didn't have the space anymore and I never caught back up on either titles. Unfortunately my interests took a different turn, I have a nasty habit of procrastinating hobbies. I've been collecting Gundam model kits but I haven't put any of them together, something I hope to accomplish in the next few days that I have off.

Video games are worse, I'll buy a game, play it for six hours then just drop it completely. Nothing about the game will turn me off but I just never feel like playing it. Same with anime, took me two years to finish Hyouka, and I have all five seasons of Dragonball but for whatever reason I haven't put the last season in and finished it yet.

The only anime that's really kept my interest up is Eva but it's been four years since the last movie and as for games? FFXIV has been pretty much been my sole game I have been playing for two years now.

lmaoing tbh. I literally have not changed in the last 23 years. Still like everything I liked when I was a kid. The only thing that has changed is I like more stuff that I didn't know existed as a kid; like MLP, Weabo conventions, Minecraft tutorials and Dating simulators. Life is good.

For Halo I've lost a lot of interest in it after Reach. When I got older I realized the game is never going to change from the Halo CE campign setup and each release just got more disappointing.

For Star Wars once I got out of high school the majority of the interest I had in that died as well. There hasn't been a good Star Wars game since 2005 and there's far too many books for me to know what is going on with the universe. Even with the EU being axed I still don't care to catch up on it due the lost interest. Star Wars is just too black and white for me to have an interest in it like what I used to have.

For video games I hardly play them and when I do it's only for about an hour at a time. Once I got a job that cut my time down and I enjoy the outside more than I do for the inside now.

I haven't changed much in regards to interests. I still play games (Though I have largely lost my enthusiasm for Halo over the past year), I still like Star Wars, still get Lego every now and then. Only difference is I'm better-versed in physics now so I spend a lot more time reading up on science-related topics.
