As much as I liked the ultra thick outlines/general cartoonish art style, I think BoG/RF looked a lot better polished.

I just feel the new style is less refined and has less character. There were certain subtleties that Toriyama and the good animators gave to the characters to make them unique. Now the body proportions and faces usually seem off.

Coupled with Super Saiyan Blue it'll be unstoppable.

Also not sure if I buy Whis's thing about Monaka. Might still be a trick up their sleeves...

tbh the explanation given in the episode makes sense in terms of not using it earlier (He basically said the heightened control over his ki compared to earlier transformations makes it a lot safer to use in SSB). Even in the otherworld tournament episode, he didn't go past x2 and only used it for a single strike.

That would have been the best way to end the fight, I'm hoping that the fight continuing into next episode will keep the quality of this one
