Downside to dark hair

So I've never had dark hair before now, and when I shed, I can see it fucking EVERYWHERE.

I don't know how you people with naturally dark hair did it all these years.

I manage. My hair changes appearance under different lighting. Normally it's jet black, but when light is shining on it, it's a brownish reddish colour.
