Genisys: Kyle Reese is sent back to the past, but now Arnold is there to help? Why? I didn't listen to the sound in the trailer because I shouldn't be up this late, so please explain ASAP

Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
T2 was supposed to be the end of the story entirely but T3 came out and changed it.
Salvation is about the humans trying to survive against Skynet after the nuclear war.
Genysis looks like its going to be like T1/T2's story and make it so T3 doesn't happen, which should be promising.

the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
It ended with T2. Despite evidence to the contrary, no movies were ever made after that.

There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.
Love life; but take nothing too seriously.
As long as they can make money off of it, the writers will add something else to it. Time travel stories are just complicated to begin with and you could potentially just alter the timeline and focus on that.

I've heard it suggested that even if the Skynet did eliminate all of Humanity, it wouldn't have a purpose anymore, so it does whatever it can to ensure a remnant to fight.
