Yeah, I like the dry, conversational humor much more than Family Guy's or American Dad's sketch/slapstick humor. The latter two are both funny shows in their own respects, though overdone.

the point is that American Dad is a God-tier cartoon. Anyone who bashes it probably just watched the first 5 or so seasons when MacFarlane still had an influence on the show. Modern AD is just as clever and groundbreaking as R&M.

Bob's burgers is far and above better than family guy and American dad. That being said, later viewings weren't nearly as good and I've lost nearly all desire to watch the new ones.

Even the early seasons of American Dad are pretty good. It's leaps and bounds more clever than Family Guy, though I wouldn't ridicule someone for liking low-brow comedy. Sometimes dumb humor is the funniest.
