I do have a fair share of songs from the 60's 70's 80's and 90's that parents do enjoy listening too. The rest of the 90% they're to fond of

The typical stuff I tell people I'm into when they ask -- Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Ministry, Skinny Puppy, Foetus -- generally, they aren't too fond of. My mom sort of likes Nine Inch Nails (that was her generation's teenage years) but she got pregnant when Trent come to the spotlight so she didn't really get to experience her teenage-hood. My dad hates it.

But I'm into stuff they're both into. My mom like The Smiths, The Cure, New Order... stuff like that. My dad's into Rainbow, Deep Purple, Whitesnake, etc. All stuff I like.

They're not all too familiar with it tbh. I don''t really play music around them ever.

I do have similar tastes to my dad, listening to prog, fusion, jazz, djent etc. but he also listens to more metal than I do and doesn't listen to electronic stuff or triphop like me.

My parents didn't influence my musical tastes; I developed then on my own.

My musical tastes are rather varied, but on average I would say no. I doubt my parents would enjoy Rammstein. They would probably enjoy the 80's hits I listen to though.
