This a general thing. I think that people are trying too hard to live in the past. At least the ones I talk to. They constantly refer to events in the past, while not saying a word of what they're going to do or what will happen in the future.

As the present is just now happening and the future is unknown. You could talk about, "Hey, I might get a job doing this" get way too hyped for it and fail.
Are they living in the past, or just talking about it?Big difference. most people admit things change.

Or eating foods that existed a long time ago. Or maybe even going back to places they were at in the past for no practical purpose whatsoever. Like, just trying to relive old memories.
