Yeah I'm aware of that. The reason I watch YouTube is because I don't have cable. It's much more convenient to watch it on my tv instead of my computer.  I'm thinking you misunderstood the original statement.

because you probably wont have any notifications on, so really even if other people saw you online and messaged you it wouldnt pop up. to the people looking in you might as well be offline.
