I'm smoking some weed for the first time in a few months tomorrow, and I need a good playlist for the occasion. I like dreamy, detached songs like Strawberry Fields Forever or Summer Breeze, not electronic or instrumental songs. Any tips?

it really depends on what kind of music you like man, it just makes songs i like even better.

one day though the song Latch came on, and even though I never thought it was special sober, it felt like the most beautiful concoction of sounds high

Hey You sounds so goddamn amazing when you're feeling bamboozled. On Melancholy Hill by the Gorillaz is also a very good song to listen to while stoned.

I don't think music would serve as much of a distraction from the pain of getting stoned to death.

That said I think Eisbrecher's Amok would go quite nicely with with a violent occurrence such as that.

I like to listen to ambient electronic music or rap. Mellow rap. But really anything that's not really upbeat and hardcore is good.
