That's probably because I was invited when it was first made, but couldn't be bothered yet. Then went on to be invited twice more over some months/weeks... anyway I joined eventually. Better late than never.

They're well aware of how shitty the community here is. It's the fact that dickery is inversely proportional to population - the more people are in one place, the more likely they'll all be assholes to one another because individual friends you genuinely like become a multitude of acquaintances that you don't give a shit about. BE might be slow, and I may only post there like once every six months, but there's still a much better bunch of people over there.
