-There is an "Illuminati", in the sense that there are far higher powers at work. People with absolute control of money, media and resources that are working towards a One World Order (which I don't think I'd be opposed to.)

Yeah I'm sure all sorts of shit was faked. Conspiracy theories are often not very far fetched and considering the United States past, are entirely possible. The U.S. isn't some idealistic happy and dandy country that puts its citizens above all else. We have been known to do some incredibly fucked up shit. The notion that we would fake some of our own national tragedies really isn't that ridiculous. People just treat it as if it is ridiculous because they don't want to believe that our government would do such a thing, when history has proven otherwise. We treat conspiracy theorists like crazy people because society tells us to and because their ideas are so abstract sounding that even considering them as a possibly being true is terrifying. Many conspiracy theories out there are more than reasonable. It's just our refusing to believe them that makes them seem so far-fetched to us. The government is more than capable of doing many of the things people are theorizing that they have done or are doing. They don't care if a few people die to get their agenda across successfully.

I'm sure that 9/11 was known to happen on some level or another. I do believe with several dozen stories of insulation for the heat, steel beams could be melted. It wouldn't just be jet fuel either. It would be several stories worth of office and building materials burning all within a confined space. The steel beams didn't have to melt either. They just had to be heated enough to reach a breaking point where they gave in.
