Your argument could have benefited without that addition, it really doesn't help put your stance in a positive or non-bigoted light of the subject.
It's important to note, as it does actually affect others.
As do homsexuals showing gestures of affection in public places. That's called homophobia. Are you admitting to being transphobic, or was that unintentional?
Two men kissing isn't inherently disgusting. Grown men pretending to be girls is, and also pretty creepy.

Do you know what's far more creepy? Being infatuated with a fictional cartoon character.
Liking and identifying with a character and changing your sex aren't comparable whatsoever.

To you, that's the point being made. There is nothing wrong with two people of the same sex kissing, but there are people who find it to be creepy and disgusting. It's homophobia, just as you claiming to vomit in disgust at the sight of a transperson would be transphobic. Know what I'm saying?

I know what you're saying, but it's illogical. Post op transgenders objectively look more disgusting than a simple kiss. That's not a phobia, that's an observation.

To any rational person.
Agreed.
Quote
Putting homosexuality and transgenderism on the same level is comparing apples to oranges.
My favorite platitude. I don't really see how comparing apples to oranges is necessarily a bad thing.
It just doesn't function as an analogy. You have to show why they're so incomparable.

I'm not outright calling you transphobic, by the way-- just pointing out that, unless you genuinely are, you are unintentionally painting yourself in that light.

If by "transphobic" you mean "find cross-dressing and post-op TGs repulsive", then yeah, I am. That has no bearing on this conversation, though.

It's really obvious who does and does not understand transgenderism and related trans issues.

If you don't know what you're talking about, it's generally a good idea not to debate about it.
This isn't a debate, it's a discussion. Transgenders who embrace the disorder are sick. They have no place in a civilized society.
And how does someone being transgender negatively affect anybody else?

Something doesn't have to affect others to be sick or idiotic. Transgenders have a disorder, simple as that, and it should be treated, not embraced.
If it doesn't affect you in any way, why do you care? What possible purpose would it serve other than wasting society's time?

And why do I care? The main reason is that I'm a somewhat ethical person.
Either this is bait or you're really that deplorable. ._.

The rest of your argument completely contradicts that, though. If you were ethical, you really wouldn't care. It has nothing to do with you, does not affect you or anyone else in any way... it's completely unethical to punish something that's harmless and morally acceptable.

Letting a sick person believe he's not sick, and refusing to help him, is unethical.

That's more of a result of the Social Justification; just like not all cops are trigger happy murder lovers, not all transpersons look "disgusting". They're just seen more often because that's what's reported and shown more often and because the only people who are on the curb shouting, "I'M TRANSGENDER" are the special snowflakes. A majority simply transition and live their lives as if they were never their birth sex and are unrecognizable outside of extreme scrutiny.

It does, in the sense that it creates an impasse. Would you want to argue with a racist as to why racism is bad? I sure the fuck wouldn't. If you just came out and said that you were transphobic, that would make it a lot easier for some of us, anyway, to not waste our time with you. You understand? It's a matter of, "am I willing to spend my time arguing with this person".

One of Cheat's alts.
I'm not lying. You're born the way you're born. Whether you're black, gay, autistic, or transgender, you can't help what cards you're dealt. What you can do is work to better yourself. And submitting to your mental disorder isn't bettering yourself, it's making the situation worse. If you're unlucky enough to be born as a TG, I have nothing but sympathy for you until you decide to be an idiot and worsen your condition.
I never understood why people say this: "You are the way you're born." It completely ignores the mind/body conflict that trans people are born with and puts the person's body above their mind in importance.

Basically you're telling that person "I don't give a fuck who you are, how you feel, how you think and see the world. I just want you to act and behave like someone who looks like you would. That would make me and everyone else comfortable, thanks."

Fuck off with that.

Now, what about people like me? I feel like a robot and the fact that I can't be a robot is seriously triggering me right now.

Go right ahead and dismiss my claims even though you know I'm right. Being in love with a fictional cartoon character is incredibly pitiful. Being trans is no where close to how sad having a waifu is. Tell me are you so bitter about trans people because you were rejected by one or something?

It does have bearing, because it shows how valid anything anything you say in this thread is. That's like asking a Nazi his opinion of Israel or the KKK their opinion of black people and using that as a serious argument.
I don't hate TGs like the KKK hates blacks or Nazis hate Israel, I just find what they do nasty. Sue me.

No, he's pointing that there's a fundamental impasse in arguing with someone who feels like that of a subject. It's not an attack, it's saying that there is "no point in arguing with a racist" because a racist and a non-racist will never agree, so there's no point in having the discussion.

If all racism was was finding blacks nasty, and not actually hating them, could you honestly not argue with a racist about it? Like, I don't even have anything against TGs personally. Say one bad thing against them and this forum has a heart attack.
