Like I said in the other thread, I have nothing but respect for TGs who don't feed the delusion and get a gender change. If they're actually trying to help themselves, they're dealing with their condition correctly.
What if they ignore it entirely? They're not getting surgery or trying to "heal" it.

The more it affects you, the worse it is. Transgenderism's eventual result (if followed through completely) is the surgical changing of your sex. That's pretty affecting.
Actually, it isn't, but you wouldn't know that.

Many trans people opt to not have the surgery.
There's a part in there you may have missed.
And my point was that not everyone needs surgery to have "completed" transitioning [whatever that may mean]

Plenty of people just do the HRT and call it a day, no surgery whatsoever.

There isn't a single course of action that prescribes what trans people must go through.

irony.
I love how half this site doesn't know how to use that word correctly.

I love how you constantly talk about issues you're completely clueless about.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
If SecondClass had to pick between being born transgendered or born with harlequin ichthyosis, which would he choose? Or would they both be equally horrible?
What the fuck? Obviously transgender, I just wouldn't be an idiot and try to embrace my disease, I'd get it cured.
Don't act all offended; it was more of a rhetorical question. Obviously you would rather be transgendered. Point being, how do you quantify how "bad" a defect is? I'm not even arguing with you, I'm just gathering information right now. I'd like to try to understand the perspective of what I consider to be... toxic bigotry.

Most just go on HRT and try to live daily life as the opposite gender.
Shouldn't that still just be giving in to the delusion?

Don't lie. You literally have no respect for any trans people considering how you've been posting about them.
I'm not lying. You're born the way you're born. Whether you're black, gay, autistic, or transgender, you can't help what cards you're dealt. What you can do is work to better yourself. And submitting to your mental disorder isn't bettering yourself, it's making the situation worse. If you're unlucky enough to be born as a TG, I have nothing but sympathy for you until you decide to be an idiot and worsen your condition.

As long as you're not embracing the disease (cross-dressing, gender reassignment, referring to yourself as "her"), then you're not being an idiot about it.

I don't think that was the implication. He can correct me here if I'm wrong-- but he most likely meant in the sense that it's the last possible surgery or action that a person can take to become closer to the opposite sex, not that it's necessarily what all transpersons do.

CIS scum, please try not to make things personal here. Despite the emotional saturation a good bit of this thread has endured, it can still be handled without resorting to that.

I don't want diseased people to be able to walk around, untreated, living their life as a delusion. The second, more vain reason, is that TGs are just repulsive. I should be able to walk up to the store without feeling the need to lose my lunch every time I see a tranny.
Ladies and gentlemen, the definition of transphobia.
I love how you ignore my main reason and immediately jump to the admittedly more trivial one.

Your argument could have benefited without that addition, it really doesn't help put your stance in a positive or non-bigoted light of the subject.

As do homsexuals showing gestures of affection in public places. That's called homophobia. Are you admitting to being transphobic, or was that unintentional?

My stupidity is self evident.
If you feel like a girl you can be a girl, and vice versa.

Now, what about people like me? I feel like a robot and the fact that I can't be a robot is seriously triggering me right now.

Two men kissing isn't inherently disgusting. Grown men pretending to be girls is, and also pretty creepy.

Do you know what's far more creepy and disgusting? Being infatuated with a fictional cartoon character.
