Recently bought a pair of boots. Been wearing cowboy boots x wranglers x white tshirt variations the last few days at parties and day outings. I get way more respect and cowboys always nod their heads at me and give me free beer. Friendliest folk around

Of course, not that there aren't decent country songs out there. But all I've ever heard was mopey shit.

Picked this up the other week, pretty good album.

Though I gotta say that Zac Brown, Hank III and Justin Townes Earle are the only modern "country" artists I follow. Just can't stand most of that bro country they play on the radio. It sounds like generic pop-rock with the occasional banjo in the background and a fake southern accent. So I really do miss out on a lot of new releases.
