LC has stated that the ban length was contributed by other things more than just that one thread, such as his recent mood since November and all around complete aggressiveness. It was more of a slow boil of smaller things with his face comment being the trigger.

Longer than that actually. It's been an almost constant thing since he came back from his perma and he's had a few near perma bans in the past as well.

Now I wasn't the one who decided he should get a 2 month ban, but I'm not going to argue it either. Maybe that kind of a vacation is what he needs to chill out a bit and from the activity spike we seem to have had maybe people feel a bit more comfortable discussing things without the threat of him coming into the thread looming over them.

looking at the stats we're on track to surpass both November and December if this level of activity keeps up
