I'm over it by now, and it's pointless to stick your fingers in your ears yelling "THE EU IS CANON THE EU IS CANON". Honestly, I'm not really concerned at this point. The new Marvel comics are great for the most part, and lots of good EU content is being brought into the new canon. I'm not completely sold, mind you, but I don't think the new canon spells the end of Star Wars.

I haven't heard anything about that. I know many elements of the old EU are being salvaged and brought into the new canon , but the EU in it's entirety is legacy, last I checked.

There's still an EU that's canon.

What does the canon EU contain? The new, entirely canon universe I'm talking about consists of:

The films
The Clone Wars TV show
Star Wars Rebels
The Tarkin novel
A novel I think is called New Dawn
Marvel's new comics

And then everything going forward.

From Wookieepedia.com: "As of April 25, 2014, the only previously published materials that are considered canon are the six Star Wars films and the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series and film, while the Expanded Universe is no longer considered canon[1] and was re-termed as the "Legends" brand.
