I'm a cyclist, and I'll say that cyclists that don't follow the rules of the road shouldn't be on the streets, just like drivers. Fuck drivers that go out of their way to be assholes by not sharing the road.

I don't drive but I agree with this. A bike and a car just aren't in the same league. It's dangerous.

People who cannot understand the basic rules? Yeah they suck, but at least where I live a lot of people use bikes, and they follow the rules pretty easily. That being said there are bike paths for them which makes it much easier to obey the rules.

To an extent, agreed.

In rural places it seems the cyclists are far more safe road-wise with all the hand indications and all that, but in places like Cardiff, the cyclists are fucking mental. Now that could be down to being a largely student city, making most of the cyclists clueless and/or drunk students, but with that said it doesn't excuse the dozens of shit drivers too.

Then again, drivers have to pass tests and have all this paperwork and insurance forms filled out to drive, while I can just hop on a bike with little to no road safety knowledge and just weave amongst the traffic with little care in the world.
