Lol who gives a shit
The possibility that we could have done something differently haunts me.
Its Bungie's own fault for raping their own site. They brought it on themselves.I only recognize like 3 people on Bnet now. The place is a god dammed mess.
Quote from: DemonicChronic on March 17, 2015, 12:21:00 PMThat would've required Bungie to abandon the idea of turning their site into a social networking emulator/ad campaign.I don't get why people like Camm, DTL, Beetle and Otthild can't just abandon ship. It would be so much better here with them.

It wouldn't work. No one saw this coming.

there was no reversing what bungie did. the community was extremely vocal about our opinions. they never listened. they didnt manage the site properly, kept minimal oversight over the ninjas (who were actually ok as a whole, but there were a few really bad eggs,) and followed the money trail wherever it led. they were the architects of their own destruction.

You know, where they talked about the site itself in a meta sort of way? Yeah, that place that we never really understood what to do in? Were like, people circlejerked the mods and staff and tried to get questions in the mail sack? They wanted everything that b.next was.
I don't know. Fact of the matter is it wasn't so much the "Desticles" as it was Bungie becoming a huge disappointment and the mods not even moderating. I'm never going going back and I'm not a Bungie fan anymore. If we can even call them Bungie at this point.

It's not like number of followers means anything.
