A little under an hour into it (no I did not watch this whole pathetic press release, I skipped around) the presenter is showing off Cortana and announces that she'll be in Windows 10.

Almost everything she says is ripped directly from Halo audio.
I can't wait for the web browser that's replacing IE, Spartan.
Ooh, or the archive manager GuiltySpark, as Windows has never had a built in archiver.

I'm especially exited for the Cole Protocol, which makes your computer shut down and delete all of it's data.

I almost bought a windows phone. But then I find out it isn't Jen Taylor who VA's the cortana thing in britain, and it's region specific to NA so I decided to get a cheap samsung a friend was selling instead.

Seriously, the fact that they called it cortana and it isn't cortana is a Travissty.

Well it's pretty much the only thing- gamewise- they've got going for them. They have exclusives, but they don't really have any other console sellers tht are as big as Halo. It kinds makes sense that they're going to use something from it for their OS. If they didn't have Halo and Halo was multiplat/ Xbox and PC like Titanfall, Microsoft probably wouldn't sell as many xboxes.
