Mein lungs hurt. And I can't catch my breath. Very, very short of breath at the moment. Can't tell if it's from leftover infection, or the fact that I react rather badly to certain types of air. It doesn't feel damp. But it's not dry either. Can't pin it down.

Yeah, I used to be completely asexual before I got into a serious committed relationship. At one point though it's like a switch was flipped and I was hit by a train of completely new feels. That unfortunately meant I made a lot of really dumb mistakes because I didn't know how to handle basic feelings of attraction and arousal.

It kind of sucked. I used to wish that I could just go back to being asexual because things became unnecessarily more complicated now that there was intimacy involved.

I used to tell people I was straight (and most of my family/friends probably think I am) but that eventually grew more and more unappealing once I realized it was weird for most people to be straight and not want a girlfriend or have sex.

It's not really a big deal in terms of "coming out" since it's a lack of doing/wanting to do something. But it is definitely a "for real" thing, yeah.

That's the thing. We don't necessarily understand each other's sexualities (or lack of).
I don't just become attracted to people. In my 21 years of life, I've fallen in love twice and become physically attracted once to a single person who I was in a relationship for 4 years. It took me being with this person for a year (who by the way, was also my best friend and someone that felt closer than family) to finally start experiencing things such as arousal. That's it.
