Once upon a time in merry old Bavaria, Baron Otto von Kreugar auf Weinedorf mit Shekelgruber stepped outside of his manor and announced "I'd sure fancy some good old fashioned fox tossing, fair chaps." So the baron found a fox and threw it in to the air as high as he could as is custom. There was a surprise this time, however, in the form of a ferocious black bear appearing as the fox made it's fate-full descent to the hard earth. The bear, seeing the fox for the nuisance and meat it is decided to intercept the fox with it's jaws and rob poor Otto of his fun. The bear then ate the fox and walked away, as bears are asocial after a meal.

A Fox hearing these words said with a smile to the Bear, “Oh! If only you would eat the dead and not the living.”
