I would have liked to see his original post, If only to remember as and example of "how not to post".

And since we're on topic, I think my biggest problem with modern Christmas and holidays is that they give people too much of an excuse to not be community oriented throughout the year, as if being nice to your family on Christmas somehow makes up for being an uncaring stranger the rest of the year. If you want to have good relations with your family/community then you have to be doing it almost every day, not put it off until the ritualistic time of year.
