Wrong. All communities should be inclusive by nature, and yes removing someone from it because they're not popular enough to "hang out" is awful, twisted, and very indicative of what kind of person you are.

Let's put it this way, if it was the corpse of a human being, would you have done the same thing and posted a thread with pictures of it?

I would've called the police, it's a dead body.

I'd probably get arrested for wasting police time if I called them about the cat, sad but true.

Hate to say it, but I do value human life a bit more than animal life. So I would've actually buried the body if it was a human and I couldn't call anyone to identify the corpse / contact the family.

The cat was a stray, no one owned it. There's really nothing to be done in that situation. Honestly, in retrospect I shouldn't have taken pictures of it, should've just told the story, but I thought no one would believe me without some form of proof.

Communities are exclusive by nature. They exclude people who don't share the same values and ideas. Nobody wants to ban you because you aren't popular, we want to ban you because you're an asshole

Let's take a step back and think for a moment. Why do these threads exist, and moreover, why are they perpetuated?

By now, you guys are having the same conversation to the point that it's blasting a stripped groove. The music is gone, and everything that's had to be said has been said. It's not up to any of us whether she listens; it's all on her. As much as there's an urge to feed into this and keep replying - a trap I myself have fallen into - it doesn't do you any good in the end. It strengthens an attention-seeking behavior that can largely be quelled by not giving it attention.

I don't care either way, but if you folks really want her gone, you can't keep giving her a reason to stay. You can think of the posts like you would forum adbots that litter sites with badmins who don't IP clean and fuck off for time eternal. There's nothing you can do but ignore it, and if you do it enough, it will become nothing to you.
