BvS was enjoyable despite what critics have been saying (spoilers)

Now, I have not seen Man of Steel so I was lost on a few things, but I will watch it this afternoon. There were a few cringe-worthy lines of dialogue though, which when combined with Batman's voice modulator were made even worse. Some things I didn't understand:

Spoiler
How could Lex Luthor's human blood turn Zod into Doomsday?

Who was the guy in armor talking to Bruce during his "hallucination"?

Is Doomsday basically a mutation/infection/parasite that feeds off a host like the Flood?

You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
The whole "Bruce talking to the armored guy in the portal" looking thing made me look at the Flash TV show. Where traveling between worlds and going through time is more common. Of course I probably am wrong.

My guess? The Kryptonian abomination requires foreign genetics ("foreign", meaning, anything that differs from the host. Another Kryptonian would likely work as well) in order for the mutation process to occur.

This is all speculation, though.

The Flash from the future. Speedsters can tap into the source of their power, called the "Speedforce", and travel infinitely fast. This also allows them to travel back and forth in time.

Not even a little bit. I don't know why you try to connect everything to Halo...

Goodness gracious, great balls of lightning!
Doomsday is some sort of Kryptonian-genetic engineered experiment gone wrong. When he gets killed, he comes back to life and is resistant to whatever killed him.

But how is he connected to General Zod? Or he just needs any Kryptonian host body?

Any Kryptonian can become Doomsday.

Why did Zod die from a broken neck, but Superman can get impaled through the torso while exposed to Kryptonite and still live.

Chock it up to prolonged exposure to earth's sunlight.

Yes, the Armored Man was the Flash, if the lightning bolt on his chest wasn't enough proof, you'll note he was played by Ezra Miller, the actor cast to portray the Flash in 2018's "The Flash", and also the blur in the convenience store footage.

Doomsday, in my theory, was a gargantuan monster because human cells are not as robust as Kryptonian cells.

Consider Doomsday a human body trying to contain all of the power of a Kryptonian.

This doesn't really explain why he was able to absorb all forms of energy, not just radiation.

Then why was the creation of another Doomsday banned by the High Council of Krypton?

Doomsday is some sort of Kryptonian-genetic engineered experiment gone wrong. When he gets killed, he comes back to life and is resistant to whatever killed him.
The original story is that a group of Kryptonian cultists foresaw Brainiac's arrival on Krypton, and engineered a mutant soldier to stop him.

The Krytonian government dismissed Brainiac as hogwash, but the Doomsday Cultists knew their prophecy would come true, and proceeded in secret without adequate funding or professional help from the Guild of Scientists.

They were unable to control the monster they created, the Doomsday Monster, and it was destroyed by General Zod, and the remains were disposed of off planet.

Brainiac did come to Krypton and they were defenseless, General Zod managed to evacuate the aristocracy of the capitol city, Kandor, before Brainiac stole it and shrunk I down to keep as a trophy.

Then, so that he would have the only access to Kryptonian culture and knowledge in the universe, he set off the chain of events that would ultimately destroy the planet.

You would think after the council had been wrong about Brainiac they might listen to Non and Jor El, but they instead had Non lobotomized and you know the rest.

Doomsday came to Earth, I believe pursuing his original purpose, to kill Brainiac, who was being held prisoner by Superman for trying to repeat the events of Krypton in Earth.

Of course, Doomsday was just going to kill everything, because he has no concept of discretion, so Superman had to stop him.

They actually just said that genetic abominations were outlawed, which could mean anything, but more than likely the Doomsday knockoff we saw is going to stay dead and the real Doomsday is out there somewhere, wandering the universe in search of Brainiac.

He'll have a different appearance and set of powers than the one we saw in BvS

"Never again would such an abomination be created."

It seems like they're referencing something specific, not just genetic modification in general.

Yes, please. I like this idea.

I mean, they already fucked up "The Death of Superman", but y'know... the Flashpoint Paradox/Justice League: War/Injustice storyline is still my hope right now. Which will correct everything.

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.

I still want to see Blackest Night/Brightest Day. It'd take a ton of foreplanning though, which doesn't seem to match DC apparent choice of rushing everything out the door.
